If you want to create and innovate the place you need to end up, and this may be obvious, is in the unknown country, the place no one’s been. So why is this seemingly obvious thing so hard to achieve?

Let’s first consider the main tool your using to do this work. Then let’s understand how it works, ane how you can get it to work the way you want to.

We’re talking about that thing you’re carting around under your fancy hairdo, and behind that thing you call a face, your brain.

It’s an impressive hunk of stuff, this organic blob has a lot of nerves, nerve junctions, brain cells and goo, all of which manages to function your body, store your memories, and once in a while, do some thinking.

How did this get here?

Through millions of years, this thing evolved into an amazing and complex system. Consdier that through almost all of this time, humans were primarily focused on two and only two things; survival and reproduction. There is a lot of complexity and a lot of efficiency baked into your brain, all of it fine tuned for these two objectives.
