Anger

It burns as if of its own,
deep within me, glowing coals of a long fed fury.
It is my burden, my vileness and my enemy,
as it holds me back from the man I should be.
It tricks me into thinking that my ire should be focused without…yet it is within that this poison flame burns.
And it brings harm only to me.
